Tirta Gangga

Tirta Gangga tourist attraction, was once a royal water park in Karangasem in eastern Bali.  At present the Tirta Gangga Karangasem park serves as a tourist place in eastern Bali

There are three main things in the Taman Tirta Gangga Karangasem, gardens, ponds and statues.  The location of the Tirta Gangga Karangasem park, located in the middle of the rice fields and water in this park comes from the spring of Rejasa.  This park still belongs to the kingdom of Karangasem. The area of the park is 1.2 hectares of Tirtagangga, which extends and stretches from east to west.  There are three levels of buildings in the Tirtagangga Bali park.  In the tallest building there is a spring under the banyan tree.  The second level building, there is a swimming pool and the lowest building is an ornamental pool with a fountain. When tourists enter the Tirtagangga park, the first thing tourists see is the expanse of a pool of water and there is one temple towering high on the right.  In the water pool, tourists can see ornamental fish and the bottom of the pond.  The water in this park is very clear and cool, because pond water comes from springs not from processed water.  Springs in the Tirtagangga park by local people are considered holy water.  Used in religious ceremonies in the area around the Tirtagangga park. Mata Air Rejasa has a very large amount of water, clear and soothing.  A third of the supply of the Rejasa spring is sent to homes in the city of Amlapura (the capital city of Karangasem) and two-thirds is used to fill the pond and the output of pond water is directly used for agriculture.tirta ganggatirta gangga
