The bas-reliefs on the surviving pavilons of the Ujung pleasure garden show the same elongated style found in reliefs in the Puri Kanginan. They do not appear to have been carved(or modeled) by Balinese. This is unusual; the great architectural enterprises of princes are traditional sources of instigation and support for Balinese artisans, and there is something poetic about the collapse of this vast, effete fantasy park, another victim of Mount Agung in 1963.
